Each program is designed to increase the shared brand recognition and increase awareness of independently and locally owned business.
What is the BIBA Guide?
The BIBA Guide is BIBA's largest collaborative marketing tool. The Guide lists BIBA members by category, offers a special advertising section for all locally owned businesses and provides information on the value of shopping locally.
First released in January of 1998, the annual Guide is BIBA's oldest and most recognizable publication in Boulder. It lists all of BIBA's members and their discounts. It can be picked up at BIBA businesses and other venues across town. Thousands of shoppers rely on the Guide as their source for independent business in Boulder.
Community Benefit Card
Many cardholders in the past year have recognized the advantages of shopping locally with the Community Benefit Card. Used in conjunction with the BIBA Guide and offering discounts at 50+ BIBA businesses, the card introduces locally-minded customers to BIBA members and the discounts keep them coming back for more.
Boulder Weekly Advertising
A Founding Member and Benefactor, the Boulder Weekly offers significant discounts on advertising to BIBA members. In addition, the Boulder Weekly is currently running a "Get Local" advertising campaign that prominently highlights BIBA members and the Local brand. Email the office at info@boulder-iba.org for more information on this ad campaign.
